Client Representation:
If our experience has taught us anything it is that commissioning and testing seems to be rushed in our industry. Drilling equipment manufactured today is very technical and many aspects are over looked during the FAT process. In fact many rig manufactures “test as they go” and can miss the opportunities that appear when the entire rig is tested as a single system.
Canadian Technical Services is available to act as a project manager/ client representative on the manufactures location for the duration of the rig build. This is particularly beneficial for overseas clients. From being involved at the beginning of the project we can assist in some pit falls that occur at the end of the project, we understand the function of a proper sales specification and can advise on aspects that our clients may not take into consideration at the beginning.
We represent your interests and insure all technical aspects of the build are monitored. We will monitor time lines, cost over runs, performance and overall design and report back to you. Again our focus is on reliable machine performance, ease of service and profitable production.
We will work with you and the builder to develop a detailed factory acceptance test procedure (FAT) and insure all aspects of the rig are fully tested before it is shipped to any location around the world.
