Rig Audits / Preventative Maintenance Programs:
The audit is the key first step to a successful plan, we use a detailed audit system to asses equipment for preventative maintenance plans as well as retro fit operations.
About a week is spent observing rig operations, identifying key components, interviewing employees, speaking with management and reviewing documentation.
We then provide a detailed report that includes observations and suggestions about all variables that impact your maintenance plan's effectiveness, rig operation, including tool availability, employee productivity, employee skill levels, supervision, equipment condition and availability, work order execution, schedule operations and planned maintenance practices.
The next step in the audit process is using the findings to create a plan for maintenance improvement.
Canadian Technical Services will suggest a detailed course of action, and work with management to create steps and timelines for implementation.
The last phase is generally the most challenging: installing and implementing the maintenance plan. During the plans implementation, Canadian Technical Services will make the process of change as painless as possible by working with employees and management, tweaking and adjusting when needed, and providing experienced guidance every step of the way.
